What is an ear cuff? An earring that clasps the edge of the ear instead of going through it. Most of ours are open bands that need no piercing; sets that include a stud need one pierced hole.
How do you put on an ear cuff? Slide the opening over the thinnest part of your ear, near the top, then move the cuff down to where it sits snugly.
Do ear cuffs stay on? A cuff holds by its fit: the opening is narrower than the band. On our Classic Chain Ear Cuff, for example, the opening is 3.2 mm and the inner diameter 7.5 mm. Several styles have two small balls at the ends of the band so they sit firmly but comfortably.
Why does my ear cuff hurt? It should feel snug, not tight. If it pinches, it is sitting on a thicker part of the ear: slide it to a thinner spot.
What are the ear cuffs made of? All of them are 925 sterling silver, recognisable by the 925 stamp. Gold and rose gold versions are plated. Sterling silver is hypoallergenic, which makes it suitable for people with sensitive skin. We recommend avoiding perfume, deodorant and other chemicals.
