The deepest stone in the family, at the size where green really shows. A round emerald-toned cubic zirconia sits low in a smooth closed bezel, the metal drawn fully around it. Dark stones need light to come back out of them, and the larger facets here do exactly that — the green reads as jewel-like rather than as black from across a room. Each earring is 925 sterling silver with a post and butterfly back, with no claws to catch.

Green is the colour people comment on. Wear the pair with a white shirt and they do all the work; wear them with black in the evening and they turn quietly formal. They are also a good gift for anyone born in May, without being labelled as a birthstone piece. Available in gold, rose gold and silver — gold makes the green look older and richer, silver makes it sharper. Hypoallergenic sterling silver throughout.
