This snake chain necklace is made from rose gold-plated stainless steel and consists of tightly linked wavy plates which create a smooth, flexible chain. It is slightly thicker and wider than your usual snake chain and has a lobster clasp to fasten the chain together at the center back. It also has an extension chain (made from regular-shaped links) with a small shell pendant attached to the end, which makes the fit adjustable.
